Objectives
The “Politique québécoise de gestion des matières résiduelles 1998-2008” aims to divert from landfills, through recycling and composting, up to 60% of residual waste produced by Quebec municipalities.
Results
In 2007, Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci has diverted 31,95% of its residual waste from landfills.
